This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I absolutely love my students! They are very energetic and eager to learn. My students each have such wonderful personalities and come to school ready to learn. They are curious and their many questions lead to such great learning in the classroom. My students come from a variety of backgrounds with supportive families and their love for learning is apparent. I cannot wait to welcome their smiling faces to class each day and help them grow and become lifelong learners.

My Project

By receiving this 120 interactive learning rug the students will be able to have a constant visual to learn about numbers and develop their math skills. For them to be able to see this 120 learning rug every single day and utilize it to solve problems and help develop number sense would be amazing!

This 120 learning rug would be such a huge asset to our learning process and would be used daily for whole group, small group, and stations.

The students would really enjoy using this life size 120 chart to demonstrate their understanding of different math skills and help their peers learn too!
