My Students
My students come from poverty-stricken backgrounds, but have a strong desire to succeed.
At this time our school qualifies for 100% free breakfast and lunch.
Each day brings new challenges for my students. These may be as simple as having clean clothes, or as complex as where they will sleep at night. With this said, my students always come to class with a positive attitude and ready to learn. They are eager to help each other be the best they can be in all areas. My students strive to be leaders in their community.
My Project
I would like to use the colored paper and lamination to create new and exciting learning stations. I’d like to be able to support my students’ learning by creating meaningful materials to support kindergarten learning standards.
These stations will extend my students’ learning while I’m pulling small groups.
They will support my students’ skills by allowing them to practice learning goals.
These stations will also help build my students’ independence in reading, writing, math, collaboration, and problem solving. Please consider helping me strengthen my students’ learning goals by allowing me to have the materials I need to create a rich learning environment.
