My students need these items to provide flexible seating options in the classroom. Flexible seating helps students engage their active bodies and mind at the same time.
My students come into their first year of school full of excitement. They are always full of life and ready to learn. They love learning and accomplishing their goals that they set for themselves. I have a classroom of students who have different learning styles, different ethnicities, and different backgrounds.
No matter the child, I find it most important for each of them to have the best possible learning environment.
My goal is to create an environment that lends itself to an engaging and productive learning environment for all students no matter their learning style.
My Project
Flexible seating will allow my students to choose a seat that allows them to learn at their fullest potential. Students will be able to choose a seat each week that they feel will allow them to do their best work. Flexible seating allows students to stay moving through out the day and not just siting still in one place.
Options for flexible seating will help students find a seat that best meet their learning needs.
This will encourage students to enjoy and love learning.More and more students are struggling with sitting in a chair all day long. As an adult I find it very difficult to sit all day. It's not fair that we would expect children to do this for 180 days. New seating will help all students be more successful in the classroom.
