My Students

Students from Sunnyside Elementary in Great Falls, Montana are eager and enthusiastic students who cherish reading and learning new information.

They love to see new books arrive in the library.

We are a Community Eligible Provision School where ALL students are eligible to eat free breakfast and lunches because most of our students are from low-income households. Many of our students' only access to quality reading materials is through their school library.

My Project

Kids love to see new books on the library shelves, and Junior Library Guild is a fabulous way to provide students with new books monthly. Not only does Junior Library Guild provide high-interest, high quality books, but they ship new books monthly to the library based on selected themes. When this project is funded, I will select four different themes, and every month Junior Library Guild will send one book per theme (four books per month). My students will treasure the new books received every month, and they will anticipate and wonder, "what books will be sent next month?"
