This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative, focused, and determined learners. They have fallen in love with reading and art this year.

Please support my students and their love of reading and expressing themselves through art.

This class is like no other class I have taught. By being able to provide them with books of their interest, they have devoured my classroom library and their reading scores show it. In just 4 months time, this class has raised their reading scores, on average, by over one whole grade level!!! Imagine the scores at the end of the year if I am able to continue to build the classroom library with books of their choosing.
