This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a classroom full of spontaneous and active kids! We love learning through experiments because our minds are sharp! We love science because we learn all about sound, light, movement, and other topics by playing games, experimenting with hands-on activities.
Because of COVID, there are many opportunities for growth in our classroom.
We are all learning at different levels, so having extra resources would be really helpful!
My Project
Because of COVID, we have many students on many different levels. These resources will help them achieve their 3rd-grade goals. As we work together on building fluency, accuracy, and retelling, these students will be able to feel successful. Their gaps of knowledge will be filled. Students will be able to record themselves reading in order to check how they are doing with their specific goals. These recorders will help them to see their mistakes, and as we know, everyone can learn from mistakes. In our literacy small groups, we will make words and learn phonics with the magnetic letter tiles.
