Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach in a self-contained classroom. My students have autism, intellectual disabilities, or other learning disabilities. I love the work ethic my students demonstrate. They are all very smart and eager to do their work with as much effectiveness as possible.

My Project

These thermal laminators and materials will allow my students to learn in a small setting. The love of art will be greatly appreciated from my lovely students. My students love art but enjoy it in small groups. It allows the students to experience art without being in a huge setting with a lot of students. The art materials will be used in the classroom. The lessons taught will be to enhance their self-confidence within themselves. Confidence building is extreme in mild profound disability students. The love of art is encouraging to them as well as the classroom atmosphere.
