Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a teacher of a low-income/high-poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges in and out of the classroom. Despite these challenges, my students teach me something new every day. They are the youngest in the building but are the most excited about being in school and learning.
These young scholars are energetic, curious, intelligent, and very loving.
It is a privilege to work with today's youth and provide them with enrichment opportunities.
My students are mini inspirations to themselves and each other, even if they don't know it yet. They are the future president, teachers and musicians because they are the future!
My Project
My students have worked very hard this year. I would like to reward them and have a fun Valentine's Day party. They will decorate bags with stickers and doilies to hold their Valentine's cards and treats. They will also create the decorations for the party and make Valentine cards. I would like to make our Valentine's Day party extra special this year because all of my students were learning virtually last school year, and they didn't get to celebrate Valentine's Day at school.
During this special experience, my students will be able to create wonderful memories that they will treasure forever.
They love to work with their hands and create art. I know they will love their Valentine's Day party and create memories for years to come. Thank you for your support!
