This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My Kindergarten students come from a variety of cultures, socioeconomic levels, and home situations. But, no matter what difficulties they face at home, they come to class ready to learn! They love hands-on, engaging projects that challenge them and encourage them to think outside the box to find solutions to a variety of problems. I want to give them tools that will help them be successful learners.

I want to incorporate a variety of learning strategies, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met. Also, to help them achieve academic success, grow, and become engaged learners.
My Project
By donating to my project, you will not only help to provide students with the tools to help them improve and increase their reading fluency, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Most of my students are not always lucky enough to have books at home. By supplying these books for our classroom library and other supplies. This will help them not only read at school but at home as well with their family. My goal is to give students tools to help them be successful in school. By using file folders to create their own little private office space. All of the flexible seating will help the students find a comfortable, homey place to sit while they learn.
