Our school has a wonderful population of families and students who want to rise above and have the best start possible. Some have it easy and some struggle with basic needs, social/emotional situations. We want to give them all the same opportunities in school!
My kindergarteners are so excited about school and love to learn, but because of the crazy year we've had, many of them did not go to preschool because they were closed.
I need to support them best I can from the very beginning because many won't have experience of being in a school setting. With the help of donors and Donors Choose, we can build their first year in elementary school to be fun, enjoyable, and aligned with standards.
My Project
Washable paint, and lots of it, is much needed in kindergarten. We use paint for everything from sensory needs, expressing ourselves, math, and ELA!
We are finding a great need for sensory exploration and time to create using tools, materials, and yes-lots of messy paint.
With 2 covid years under their belts, many students didn't have the opportunity to get their hands in things and get them working on creating.
This paint and pumps will give our students the wonderful opportunity to paint their little hearts out without us having to be too conservative on how much paint they use to create their masterpieces, buildings, greeting cards, banners, signs, and more!
