A typical day is my classroom is filled with learning and laughter. At the end of the year, I'd like for them to look back and say that they've tried their best and had some fun while doing so.
My second graders are all smiles and eager to start a new school day filled with learning opportunities!
We are a Title I school respectively, so my students come to school for an educational escape. My school acts like a family. We are already a close-knit group and everyone goes out of their way to help one another.
My Project
For the 2019-2020 school year, I am looping up with my first graders to second grade! Since we were together last school year, I wanted to add a fun way to check-in in the morning with the attendance pocket chart, start the year with a new chapter book, The One and Only Ivan, grab some magnets to hang up our awesome work and get some new curriculum designed for second graders.
Since they'll have me again this year, I wanted to make it as new and fresh as possible for them!
I'm so excited to be learning with them and continuing our journey in this new school year!
