My Students

As the school nurse, I see students during all of their emotional phases. Their are some who just want to say hi and then their are others who just need to no someone cares.

This is a quote by the Lorax ," Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better, It's not.

It is indeed up to people like use to help those in need.

My Project

My students come in all shapes and sizes. It is easier to get clothes for students who wear small sizes. If a student wears a large size, fourteen and above it is hard to find clothes that fit.

Students come to me with busted zippers, holes in their pants or wearing the same clothes for days because they don't have anything else to wear.

Some of them are ashamed to ask for my help or admit they need help. I explain to them that it is okay to ask for help. This is a way of teaching them it is okay to ask for help.
