Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach first grade. Every year I teach a group of first grade students who are excited to come to school. They are always eager to learn new concepts and do fun projects. This is a self-contained class where I teach all subjects. My students all have different styles of learning and are also at different academic levels. Every year is very exciting to me when meeting my new students and looking forward to their progress and academic success!
My Project
My students will come back to school and they will be excited to pick a pencil box in their favorite color full of the supplies they will need to successfully complete their projects.
My students will be able to excel in different ways using all the supplies that you can help provide.
They will be able to use the colored pencils, write/erase math activities, magnetic sentences, colored dry erase markers, and erasers in learning centers. They will be able to use the construction and tissue paper in art projects. They will be able to use the chart paper pad during interactive writing.
