My Students

There are 22 first graders in my class. At this age the children are proud of what they are learning and the new skills they have accomplished. They want to share what they have learned with the other children in the building, and with those that pass by.

Look what I did!

With the display clothesline the children will be able to do just that. share with others what they did. They can display their newly acquired skills with the others in the school community.

My Project

In our hallways, there are no bulletin boards to display what the children have accomplished. Currently, we use tape, but that is very tedious time consuming, and wasteful. The clothesline will be placed on the wall outside each first grade classroom. The children will display their artwork and writing projects in an attractive way.

Now the children can take pride in sharing their abilities with others.

Do you like mine? When children feel good about what they have done, they are more like to take risks with more difficult tasks. This will keep their minds open and alleviate the fear of the unknown.
