Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
A new school year means new opportunities, new possibilities and new brains ready to learn! Even as we enter this new world of technology our students are still eager to learn and discover the world each day as if they were physically in the classroom. With this said, providing the resources in and out of our classrooms are equally as important to help our students flourish!

Keeping my kindergartners engaged and in love with learning is my priority. Their young brains never stop and are always eager to experience new ways of learning with and without technology. This is why creating and providing materials that go beyond technology become essential in these crucial times.
Our school is nestled in the heart of the state of Washington, where hard work does not go unnoticed among our students in the classroom and families working in agriculture. Students' work ethic derives from their hard-working families throughout our community which sets the foundation for college-bound students to make a difference throughout our world!
My Project
Providing students opportunities to express themselves is vital in my kindergarten classroom, which is why these art resources will help them do just that! My kindergarten students have been working so so hard on learning all the foundational skills they need to succeed and giving them a fun activity like tye-dyeing shirts is exactly what they need to keep them motivated to continue!
The tye-dye paints and shirts will not only allow my students to have something fun to look forward to but will give them an opportunity to express they're artistic abilities, an opportunity they may not all have at home.
