My Students

We have a record number of women coming out for the Herron Softball team this year! As our high school has grown, so has our athletics program.

The softball team is attracting a wide range of students from those who are trying the sport for the first time to some who have played for several years.

This is an exciting time as the program expands! However, we do not want access to proper equipment to be a barrier to the program or any individual player.

We are one of Indianapolis’ best public high school. It provides a world-class education to approximately 860 students in grades 9-12 in the heart of Indianapolis. We offer an award-winning classical, liberal arts curriculum that prepares students for success in college and in life.

My Project

Our school's Athletic Director kicked off the spring season meeting by discussing the importance of our teams presenting themselves in a unified manner.

When you walk up to the softball field, I want our dugout to have the same row of matching bat bags that other schools have.

A unified look add pride and pride adds confidence on and off the field.

Right now this team carries a mix of bags that they've bought on their own. I invite you to be a supporter of our "Look Like a Team - Play Like a Team" project! Thanks for your consideration.
