I can not say enough positive things about my kids and their drive to learn. They are constantly surprising me while going through the normal struggles that middle school kids go through. Through it all, they are amazing!

My Project
Students and adults alike have greater retention of skills when we have fun while learning. This project will provide posters that will be utilized in teaching students how to locate places around the world using absolute location is a game situation.
Students struggle with map skills related to longitude and latitude, and, yet, we use these concepts daily without even realizing it.
The students will have a blast with a "Find the City" game that I have created to teach this skill, but I need these maps to be able to play it with all the students at the same time. Mastering map skills will not only help them in my World Geography class but also throughout life. The game and books will provide extra inspiration to know more about global locations.
