My Project

My students are adorable, curious, funny, PreK and 3K children. They love stories. They listen attentively to read alouds. We are a Department of Education school but our site is only for the little ones. We are in desperate need of a welcoming, bright, cozy, library where our students could relax and listen to books being read to them, or they could choose a book to share at home with their family. Having a rug, with bright comfortable pillows will make this library a place where students choose to go. These beautiful additions will allow them to enjoy reading and to think of reading as a safe and nurturing activity. They will begin their journey of becoming lifelong readers.
