Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are eager and creative learners! They are part of the dual immersion program in southern California. The majority of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. This year they are learning about the Mexican culture as part of the dual immersion program. I'm committed to providing them with the necessary tools to help them grow in their learning.
I love to see them excited about learning and growing to their fullest potential.
They love hands-on activities and expressing themselves through the arts. I would like to get equipment to help me instruct and connect virtually during these times of the pandemic.
My Project
My students are learning in a very new way. We need technology that will help us connect and learn even at a distance. It's almost impossible for my students to afford school supplies on their own, let alone the ones they need to succeed during long-distance learning. Having good technology with which to teach will facilitate our communication and keep students focused. The HD hud camera projector will help me show my lessons live. I need good headsets with a microphone to make sure they can hear me clearly. In addition, these resources will help us streamline our workflow and keep students engaged in their studies.
