My Students

My students are 5th-6th graders at a rural/suburban school in southern Louisiana. They are the sweetest bunch of children you will ever meet and are eager to learn.

Our students take pride in our library, and I strive to make it the heart of the school for my students.

We have little funding options for materials and rely heavily on grants and donations to fund our projects.

Please help me give these students the very best that they deserve by providing us with materials to make our library program the very best.

My Project

This will enable the students to really put into practice what they are learning about aircraft flight in their science classes. This program will enable them to get hands-on training with the flight simulator.

It will introduce kids to flight simulators and flying in general that they will probably never have access to otherwise without this program and device.

Our students will be allowed to use this flight simulator on our large, interactive panel before school, during recess, and with their science classes. We will also use this simulator with our STEAM program to help our students learn what it is like to fly an aircraft!
