I need lodging for when I go to the GYTO conference in Grapevine, TX! I cannot wait to attend a conference that has already changed so many teachers' lives.
Three years ago, I began teaching at a Title I school with students that come from different backgrounds, cultures, and socioeconomic statuses. Although there are various challenges for these kiddos, they come to school ready to learn and engage in the content being taught that day. These children work hard and give their best day in and day out, regardless of what might be happening in their lives.
I am beyond blessed to be able to spend my days with these amazing kids and guide them through their academic journey.
They have taught me so much and have challenged me to be the best version of myself. I could not love my job more!
My Project
I am going to GYTO Nationals in Grapevine, TX, however, I am in need of lodging when I go. This conference will allow me to grow as an educator and bring back new ideas for my students and myself to use in the classroom.
With GYTO, the possibilities for my students and my classroom are endless!
The whole experience is hands-on and engaging, which is exactly what my students need and deserve. I just need a place to stay when I go. This DonorsChoose will help me afford the cost of lodging when I go on my professional development trip to Grapevine, TX.
