My Students

I teach fifth grade in a school that is approximately sixty-five percent Title I. Over half of our students come from economically disadvantaged homes. We have a diverse group of students, including African Americans, Asians, and Hispanic students. My students come with a variety of needs and reading levels.

These children come to school each day ready to learn and with smiles on their faces.

They are excited to read and love having the chance to choose books in our classroom library. They love new books and any opportunity to read.

My Project

In our fifth grade classroom, we have received so many amazing things over the past two years, thanks to wonderful donors like you. Now we have the issue of not having a safe place to store items. I would also love new and safe furniture that has easy access. This will make my teaching more effective, as I will not need to hunt all over the room for items.

We need a cabinet that locks to help keep our new supplies safe and organized.

This cabinet will get materials off the floor, keep them safe and make them easy to find. Thank you for your support in helping us make our classroom a safe and effective place to be.
