Help me give my students laundry detergent in order to help them to feel more confident when they come to school each day.

Although several of our students come from various homes, they are some of the hardest working, intellectual students you will meet. Our students are faced with challenges every day, but they do not allow such challenges to defeat their purposes in life. All students in our school receive free lunch and breakfast due to their socioeconomic status. In addition, several of our students either live in single-parent homes, foster homes, or relative placements. Although these attributes typically prevent students from doing their best, our students rise above the trials they face.
Excellence is the only for our students, and they prove their desire for success daily at school.
Despite the challenges they face, one goal as their teacher is to offer them hands-on, meaningful learning experiences. Our students are fearless, adventurous, and determined. They enjoy helping others; learning about new ideas, cultures, and places; and spreading awareness to the world about what they learn. They come ready to learn each day and look forward to the knowledge they obtain through rigorous lessons and activities. Although their home lives are beyond our control, we are hopeful that we can inspire them to become successful adults.
Many people take for granted the basic things in life, while others sometimes struggle to meet their basic needs. Laundry detergent is one of those many things some view as small, but obtaining such a vital necessity is found to be a very big deal to others.
Laundry detergent is being requested for my students who need a little extra help this year.
I have some students who come from very large families where there are at least 5-7 children within the home. Laundry detergent was chosen as an item to help my families as a means to help take the "load" off of them. That way they can focus their efforts on other necessities within the home.
This project is being written as part 2 of a previously written project that has recently been funded this year which is entitled "Helping Hands for Students in Need." This is because in speaking with the families with whom the items for that project went to, I learned that the families genuinely were working very hard to accommodate their needs, but many of them still fell short in some areas. I decided to continue to help them through projects such as this one.
You never know how blessed you are until you trade places with others in less fortunate situations. At our Middle School, we as teachers work together to ensure that our students have all that they need in order to be successful, and this is just a small way of doing so. Thank you so very much in advance for your help with supporting our students.
