My students need a microscope, a double burner, a butterfly kit and a plant kit for our science unit on plants and animals.

We are getting ready to start our unit on Plants and Animals and my class needs some supplies, animals, and plants to help us learn more. We would love the burner to help us make delicious treats that will be coming out of the garden our school has planted and a microscope to explore more in-depth.
We are a large Kindergarten class with 30 students in an urban community.
The school is on the smaller scale. Many of my students come from low-economic status and don't have the resources or opportunities at home to explore nature and living organisms around them, especially since we live in a large city. My students are excited about this upcoming unit and as a teacher who has goats and chickens, I also can't wait to start this unit!
I am requesting 1 microscope, 1 double burner, 1 butterfly kit and 1 plant kit for our science unit on plants and animals. It's going to be so exciting to see the butterflies start as larva and become butterflies and watch the plants and flowers bloom from a seed into a full plant. Our school also has a garden and I am excited about taking the fruits and vegetables and cooking with my students in the classroom, and a burner will make that much easier. I went to a professional development workshop about "gardening with your students" and they talked about the exciting things you can see in the soil with a microscope. I thought it would be fun for my students to explore something that looks to be non-living and to actually see just how many living organisms there are that we actually can't see.
This donation will really help make our unit about plants and animals so much more enriching and it's going to give my students opportunities and real hands-on experiences that they wouldn't receive otherwise.
