Living in Style: A New Home for Our Class Pet

My Students

My students are curious, caring, and full of energy. They absolutely love learning and asking questions, most of my kiddos say they love school. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take chances in order to grow academically.

In my classroom, I like to build a sense that everyone is different but that is what makes us unique.

Everyone needs different things to learn and I absolutely love when I can give that to them.

My students all have unique challenges in my small groups. My school is a small school in a rural setting. My school is also a Title I school which means many of our students come from low socioeconomic status.

My Project

My students love our class pet! She is a gerbil named Mrs. Fluffy! Her current cage needs a bit of an update. This project will allow me to give our class pet a new cage, bedding, cage cleaner, litter box, litter, tubes, and a bath box.

My students have learned so much compassion and caring from our class pet.

They really enjoy helping to take care of her. Many of them have even got their own pets thanks to Mrs. Fluffy.

These new pet products will really help to make Mrs. Fluffy's life improve!
