My students are hard working and very energetic. They are creative and love to read! We are a year round school and I loop with my class which means I get to work with them for two years. Our school is Title I with 100% of our students receiving free breakfast, lunch, and snack.
"It's okay to be different" has been a positive motto for our class this year!
We were lucky to be in a culturally rich classroom where we can learn about diversity. Over half of my students are receiving services for special education and ESL. We spend a lot of time building our community and appreciating each other's differences.
My Project
I need a color printer to create colorful visuals for my students. While I have six students in my class with identified learning needs in language processing and seven students in my class learning English as their second language, all the students in my class respond best to visual aides.
My students love when they can see themselves in and around the room.
I love taking pictures of my students performing specific tasks and goals. This printer and ink will allow me to print those pictures in color so I can then use them throughout the day to guide our learning and expectations!
