Living in Color

My students need color ink for our classroom color printer. The color ink will be used for making station activities to help the kids stay organized during their time-alotted rotation.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom consists of 21 curious kindergarten students from special programs such as Title I, Economically Disadvantaged, and Special Education. In the classroom, we serve children from a variety of families and backgrounds, with a variety of learning strengths and needs. My goal is to help improve the academic achievement of our disadvantaged children. Kindergarten is a wonderful year of learning, laughter, and academic growth. We are needing color ink for our color printer make math and literacy stations engaging and fun!

My Project

The color ink will be used for our classroom printer. The students do an amazing job with engagement and organizing during stations for both literacy and math when their activities are in color. It's simple and easy for the students to easily remember and apply decoding strategies when they're mind is scrummaging back to an activity they've done for reading independently.

The students and I accomplish so much more in the classroom with access to our color printer in the classroom for our kindergarten students.

The engagement and independence the students feel during stations while I teach guided reading provides them with the confidence they need to grow to the next grade. I love providing my students with the materials they need to be successful.
