I teach 6th and 7th grade math in an urban, diverse district near Washington D.C. The students come from a variety of backgrounds and home situations. Many students enjoy being at school for the social contact, routine, and positive educational experience.

The walls of my classroom need some posters to add color and content while enhancing the students' experience while in math. The budget for teachers is limited therefore we rely on the generosity of donors, like you, to support our classroom needs.

The posters that I have picked out will benefit students because of the variety of topics on the posters. The posters have different themes: one poster displays why Math = Many Possibilities, another poster displays math from different cultures, and another poster reinforces measurements in a way that relates personally to students.
