My students need the backless, balance ball chairs for more flexible seating within the classroom to help them continue to engage in activities while strengthening their core!

Hooray! This project is fully funded
This year I have a special opportunity to loop from fourth grade to fifth grade with my kiddos. They are a fun, lively bunch that loves to talk! We do a lot of cooperative learning in groups and partners, which allows my students to interact daily with their peers. With so many students, so many personalities and so many learning levels, I think it is important to give them some independence and freedom on how they will learn.
My ultimate goal is to provide a safe and consistent environment for them to grow and expand their knowledge.
For a lot of them, school is their favorite place to be and I want them to feel comfortable to engage and explore the world around them.
Having backless, balance ball chairs in the classroom will make a huge difference in my students' learning! Kiddos need room to wiggle around a bit while trying to stay focused. Even as adults, we have the freedom to sit, stand or move around when needed. Kiddos need that same freedom! My students are able to sit at different leveled tables, stand or lay on our carpet, but it would be so beneficial for my students to have access to another way to learn!
How much more fun and helpful would it be to have another option in our classroom with these balance chairs?
After reading about this chair, it is nice to know that health and fitness experts created this option to help strengthen the back and core while using better posture and increase productivity throughout the school day. This is a win-win for everyone!
