My second grade classroom is full of innovative thinkers, with a passion for learning. Each morning, they greet me with either a hand-shake, side-hug, or high-five and a big smile on their face. They are excited to see their "day-time family", as they call it. The students are always eager to read their agenda during Town Hall meetings to see what they will be learning for the day.
My students are critical thinkers and passionate about exploring new things.
They enjoy learning through the process of inquiry and eagerly seek engaging, hands-on activities. When they put their thinking caps on, it amazes me what they discover and create!
My Project
This project will help my students tremendously in all aspects of their day!
A portion of this project will help provide a warm and welcoming classroom environment.
Items such as the Big Red Rooster Sound Machine, Crystal Decor Himalayan Salt Lamp and Night Light Bluetooth Speaker will help create a relaxing setting, that promotes thinking and eliminates stress. Other items, such as all of the Learning Resources materials, will be used during reading to help improve reading skills. The Thumball Who Are You and Choices In a Jar activities will be used during Town Hall (a whole group discussion time) to help build a healthy and positive classroom culture.
