My students need these Scholastic magazines to enhance their exposure to everyday items in America on their level. This allows them to have individual copies for them to share their knowledge with their families!
I teach Kindergarten in Keene, TX. We are a very small and low socioeconomic school district. My littles love to come to school because they know they are loved in my room! Sometimes life can be hard for our littles, but it shouldn't be at school!
Our cultural diversity is what makes my littles so unique!
We have students from all over the world. A large portion of our students are Marshallese, from the Marshall Islands! Their culture is so inspiring! These families are so thankful and appreciative of anything that people do for them! That is what I am trying to instill in my littles within our classroom! Love my littles!
The Scholastic magazines, Let's Find Out, will allow my students to have the opportunity to "find out" about things they are supposed to be learning but on THEIR level!
The Scholastic Magazine, Let's Find Out, has skill-building materials that get my Littles excited about learning!
Isn't that the best reason?
I am able to use the magazines every week in our lessons. These build early reading skills while introducing science, social studies, and social developmental skills!
Not only do the magazines provide "in-hand" materials, but there are also online resources that go along with it! That just expands our boundaries of learning!
