This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am blessed to teach in a Title I-funded school with 18, sweet, kindergarten students. My students are young, and most are experiencing school for the first time.
I teach an amazing group of kindergartners.
My students are always looking for ways to help others. We are a family, and their eagerness to help care for others is so inspiring. Some of my students are learning their letters and sounds, while others are learning how to read and write.
Some of my students can recognize numbers, while others are learning how to count and write numbers. They always try their best and are always willing to learn. My students are adventurous. They enjoy playing outside at recess, singing, dancing, and are constantly on the move.
My Project
My students are learning writing skills. I have found that students are much more motivated to write when they have fun supplies to use. Gel writing boards are a fun way to practice letters, writing words and sentences. These writing boards are a great way to practice foundation skills over and over.
These writing resources will help my young students improve their writing skills.
The young writer will be able to write and erase with the stylus pen that enhances hand-eye coordination. In addition, the student will create beautiful and creative pieces as well as practice letters, writing red words and sentences to meet kinder goals.
