Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have 25 first graders who are filled with questions and wonders about the world! My little thinkers and inquirers are passionate about learning of the world around them and of new skills that will help be successful, life-long learners.
My students LOVE to learn and I want to continue to support that love in as many ways as possible, which includes technology.
I have a wide range of learners in my classroom, with various skills, talents, and needs. Technology has become a huge part of classroom learning. I am asking for two iPads so that my students can practice have access to a variety of programs that will support and advanced their phonics skills, math skills, and reading skills.
My Project
Technology is a huge part of the classroom today! Unfortunately, my students do not have the best access to technology in the classroom. Having two iPads in the classroom will help transform our classroom learning. From working at previous schools, I have watched, firsthand, how technology (computers, Interactive Smartboards, and iPads) has enhanced my students' learning. IPads will allow my students to advance math and literacy skills.
We will use our iPads to practice letter and phonics sounds, letter recognition, reading skills, story making, and math skills.
