My students need an iPad to use interactive programs that help them to acquire writing and reading skills during centers time.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are enthusiastic learners. Their little minds are waiting to receive new knowledge and experiences to conquer the world. My students are fresh air to our society and they have the need to succeed in our country as future men and women.
Using technology in a kindergarten classroom is a very important and vital part of the learning process.
Kindergarteners usually have a very short attention span; therefore, technology engages students in different ways. Using technologies as a learning tool improves the way that students learn and make the time of learning more efficient. This instrument can be helpful for my students as they are learning and acquiring language (reading and writing), social and mathematical skills. This will be a rich learning opportunity for my students as they come from low-income families.
The students will use the iPad to achieve acquiring reading and writing through the use of interactive applications like iStation, ABC mouse, and ebooks in between others. This could be possible through the use of this tool, the iPad, during center time. This will make it easier to implement interventions and extensions for those students who may need them. For example, interventions for students with learning difficulties, and extensions for gifted students.
Technology is a great resource to enhance learning.
It can help students review the same material several times in different ways. For example, students can sing an alphabet song, watch a video and repeat the movements of writing each letter, and then they can use a tablet to play an alphabet game.
