Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have a morning and and afternoon group of very talented second graders. The students in my class strive for excellence. They all inherently care about one another and continuously make an effort to improve in all aspects. Most of my students are bilingual which make our class very interesting as we are constantly comparing things to our native places. I'm truly blessed with my students this year and all I want is to give them all the tools they need to succeed.
My Project
One of the most challenging things for a teacher in this day and age is to provide a good quality differentiated instruction. Our school requires the students to complete multiple computer base programs as a part of the instruction. Having these devices in my classroom will help me eliminate our daily trips to the computer lab and provide me with extra time for individualized instruction. Our time is precious and limited. I will love to be able to used every bit of it to help my student achieve their maximum potential. I truly enjoy teaching and nothing will make me happier than to be able to facilitate the learning process.
