My students need new tables that fit efficiently in our classroom space. Being the only kindergarten teacher for the upcoming school year, we’re going to be squeezing into a tight space!

My Students
Teaching at a Title 1 (high poverty) school in a low income community, many resources are hard to come by.
Students rarely have simple school supplies, therefore updated technology and resources are nonexistent.
My kindergartners are amazing students who deserve the same opportunities as others. Exposing my kindergartners to up to date resources is crucial in this diverse, tech savvy world.
We are goal crushers! We strive to crush our goals using the resources we have. Updated resources will defiantly help crush these goals!
My Project
Our classroom will be a little more snug this year considering I will be the only kindergarten teacher. Therefore, our larger sized tables will not be as efficient as smaller ones. Smaller tables means more space for active learning!
It is extremely important for Kindergarteners to have space for movement while learning!
Little ones do not do well in tight, smaller spaces!
Active learning consists of brain breaks, indoor recess, ELA center activities, math movement, book shopping, sight word hunts, flexible seating, and writing around the room. My students always love to interact with peers while completing assigned tasks around the room!
