Hello, my classroom is made up of 18 preschoolers. Most of the children come from low-income homes and have other siblings in the home. I want to encourage the children that they can be anything that they want to be if they just apply themselves and never let anyone tell them they can't do something.
The children in the class strive to be the best at everything they do, and with the right materials, we can make this happen for each of the children.
I am a Pre-K teacher who loves to let her kids explore hands-on! We focus on science and make it fun learning for the children. The eye droppers and test tubes will be used to measure items as well as mixing colors. I strive to teach my children that science can be fun but it's all on how you create that fun environment to keep the children wanting to learn more. It is important that they realize each person has an important role to play in the world they live in today and the world they will create tomorrow.
The items that we picked out such as the Magnetic Match Rings, Animal X-Rays, GeoSafari(r) Jr.
Talking Microscope, Animal Adventure STEM Learning Kit are items to help improve Stem for the children as well as engage them in science activities. We will do a lesson on looking and identifying different animal bones using the Animal X-ray and talking microscope. Students are encouraged to think outside the box and to use their knowledge to create solutions for everyday problems The sky is the limit!
Our school is a great place to be a kid!
Students learn best by doing! Giving my students hands on building materials to explore and create with offers them a chance to bring out their individuality. They can create and discuss machines, new inventions and practice science concepts by holding and developing them. From lessons on simple machines to habitats, students will show what they are thinking by creating projects. Students will build and discuss what their ideas are and how they will make an impact in the future world. The more they can create the bigger their vision will become! The sky is the limit when it comes to their
