Do you remember doing science experiments in school? I want my students to be able to experience the fun of hands on science.
I teach full day prekindergarten at a school where we have 11 of prekindergarten classes.
We have a wide variety of cultures represented in our school. If my project is funded, it would help over 200 children in the early, most important years of learning. I would like to give my class a jump start at science by allowing them to do science based activities on their own.
My Project
The students will be able to learn science standards through hands on activities instead of just reading or hearing about science. I have requested magnets, a sink the boat kit, science discovery sets, science instant learn centers and much more. Please help my kid receive these materials, so they can participate in hands on science activities. The students being able to do the activities and see the science happen right in front of them will help them retain the science material.
This project is very important and close to my heart because I feel if children are taught and expected to achieve they will.
I would like to set each of my students on a road to a lifetime love of learning of science.
