My Students
We have kids that deserve the best. We are a Title I school that has over 90% of students that eat free or reduced-price lunch. We have a high mobility rate in our area. We are over 90% Hispanic population. My students are respectful and appreciative and most of all they love to learn. We are a small school with students that are in need of just a little bit of help.
Research shows that students learn best when they are learning through investigation and hands-on learning.
Our students enjoy learning and understand that they deserve and can be the best. Please help us by purchasing a STEM book to help with projects, an electric pencil sharpener, dry erase boards and incentives for our treasure chest.
My Project
These materials will help our students succeed this year in the science STEM fair. Please help us with these items. I believe that students should learn by doing and this will help them be successful.
We will practice some of the STEM activities in the book to help them become familiar with the STEM fair.
STEM activities are the new wave of the future. The whiteboards will help us write down and draw our prototypes. Those are two steps in the STEM DESIGN PROCESS. We will edit our prototypes on our whiteboards before we make our design. STEM projects may help our students become ENGINEERS!
