Help! I have a classroom full of curious and wiggly, energetic students with short attention spans. Yes, they are 5 years old and they are eager to learn! They soak up knowledge like sponges when they are interested in a topic. I also have several students where English is their 2nd language.
This science set will really help engage my little ones and help make science come to life for them. This set will also help bridge the language barrier as the materials serve as great visual aids for my English Language Learners. This science set will definitely pique their curiosity as they can touch and manipulate the materials, helping them create real connections to scientific concepts. This science set will help develop a solid foundation of scientific concepts that my little science maniacs can continue to build upon.
My students love learning about the world around them; however, since they are 5 they have not had as many real-life experiences as older students. It is my aim to bring as many real-life experiences to them in order to allow them the opportunity to actively learn and discover. I can do this with the science set. My students will be able to grow and expand their knowledge in ways that are not possible simply through the use of our library books. I need materials that can connect them to the process of discovery and scientific thinking.

This science set will capture the attention of my wiggly, energetic students with short attention spans. This set will feed their curiosity as they get to experiment with all 10 curriculum topics. My students will be engaged in the learning process as they utilize the various science tools and materials. This set will help my students develop a concrete understanding of each science concept. This set provides many teacher resources as well. It comes with comprehensive, hands-on lessons and a guide that is filled with activities that cover the 10 curriculum areas. The set even comes in stackable storage tubs which will be very helpful due to my small classroom size.
