My school is a Title I School and I consider myself very lucky to be a teacher at this school. But we have to work harder to accomplish our goals. As educators, we should work harder to ensure that the lives of the children in our classrooms are better at the end of the day than at the beginning.
My students are from low socio-economic families.
All of them are on the free lunch program. Children who live in poverty face challenges and circumstances that impede their understanding and learning. Children who live in these environments struggle with language, reading, writing, and mathematical skills. Poverty cannot be used as an excuse to educate students ineffectively. Children who live in poverty face challenges and circumstances that impede their understanding and learning. Although poverty may hinder the educational process, it does not sentence children to a life of failure nor does it cancel out opportunities to succeed. Teachers who have an understanding of this fact are the key to their students' success.
During the center time, my students will use this tablet, which will help and support their academic progress. There are 150+ preloaded apps, eBooks, songs, and videos. These apps combine progressive challenge with playful creativity using exciting activities, and audio praise. Digital technologies provide one more outlet for them to demonstrate their creativity and learning.
We, the teachers, are educating today’s children for tomorrow’s world.
My students will get ready for school success with this educational tablet because this tablet features reading, math, spelling, science, logic, geography, creativity, and more!
"Never before in history has innovation offered promise of so much to so many in so short a time."
