This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In 3rd grade many students are transitioning from learning how to read to reading to learn. This is also a time that students that are behind may lag behind in the future unless they receive help. My goal is to help these students become better readers.

This project focuses on providing First Little Readers to learn and practice literacy!

These books are leveled, to help students read books that are not too hard, and not too easy.

I have selected books that are high interest and will both excite and motivate my students to practice reading 1 on 1 with a buddy, or independently. Reading is key to future success.
