I am blessed to teach a very diverse group of children every day. Each child has unique talents and gifts. I feel it is my job to help them discover those talents and gifts.
In my classroom, we are a family.
We encourage each other and love each other through the ups and downs of life. They do not realize it, but I learn just as much from them as they learn from me. They are precious gifts, and I want to give them every opportunity to be successful that I can!
My Project
My students participate in reading and writing stations daily during our literacy block. I want to enhance each of these stations to maximize engagement and excitement. Creating a comfy space for my students to read will extend and enhance their love for reading.
Giving students different choices of places to sit or snuggle up will keep them excited to read daily.
Giving them a variety of choices when writing will allow their creativity to flow freely through their words and pictures. This shelf will help keep all their supplies and materials neatly organized so they can find what they’d like to use and create masterpieces.
