My Students
My students are such a good example of how working together and building a classroom community can make teaching fun! Even so early in the school year, my students have learned so much and have become such caring and hardworking little learners.
My students come from very diverse families and attend an International Studies school where they attend a preschool for low-income families.
All of the students at my school receive free lunch. They really enjoy anything that is creative such as art and music. They often come from great, hardworking families who just don't have the resources to meet their basic needs.
My Project
Hi and welcome to a magical land I call preschool! This year we have been learning virtually and will be doing so until at least March 15. Since we have this unique opportunity we decided to get creative and ask the students what they wanted to learn about. They really want to lean more about Fairy Tales.
My students have been doing such a great job with online school.
I thought it would be fun to get them materials to support what they want to learn about. They really like anything hands on, building, and just being creative. Since STEM is such an important piece of problem solving, the fairy tale STEM kits will help them tie in the stories we are reading and help them learn new problem solving skills. These materials can be borrowed from the classroom to use at home to keep them engaged when they are not on the computer. The magnetic board and activity centers will be used when we get back to school to support science and technology in the classroom. They will be able to transfer what they have been learning online to new materials in the classroom.
