My students need an easel so they have space to paint. They also need an apron while they are painting.

My Students

The challenge that faces my students is that they need a space to paint. Some of my students struggle in academic areas, and this easel would give them a chance to shine in their artistic abilities.

My students are general and special education students in a New York City Public school located in NY.

My students enjoy doing artwork in the classroom. They are very creative individuals, and this easel and the aprons would give them an outlet to explore their creative side.

My Project

My students will be able to explore many colors through many painting activities at the easel along with their aprons. They will be able to paint pictures that explore topics they like or relate them to the books that they have read in class. My students will learn that there are endless possibilities when it comes creating a work of art through painting.

My students do not have much time to be creative once they leave the school setting.

Most of the students go home eat dinner, do their homework, and go to bed. This easel and the aprons will give my students a chance to expand their creative minds and will have another way to express themselves.
