Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach 24 eager preschoolers who enjoy coming to school everyday. They are always excited to share their ideas with me and their classmates. My students are hard workers and come to learn.
Children need to feel like they are in a safe place.
I strive to provide that for them because of the area our school is located. Our school is a safe haven for students. All of our children receive free breakfast and lunch because we are in a low socio economic area. Please help me give my students what they need.
My Project
In order to keep our room organized and ready for preschoolers use, we need different storage and organizational supplies. I will be teaching my students to use Dash and Botley robots but we do not have a specific place to organize them and make sure they are charged. The metal rolling utility cart, hooks and folding basketball hoop toy organizers will help us keep our robots in order and ready to use. The rolling cart and rotating caddies will help my students keep their everyday supplies close for everyday use. The magnetic folder bins will help me display and keep teacher materials close during reading and guided writing.
A room full of 4 and 5-year-olds is sweet chaos but it needs to be organized so it's ready for my students' learning needs!
An organized room will also help my students during transitions and clean-up. When my students know where to find the materials they need, they can focus more on learning and less on finding materials. Thank you for considering our classroom project.
