This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are always excited to learn. They really enjoy reading books and learning new words. At the end of the school year the students like to look back on how they went from knowing 2 words to 100 words. They learn these words by reading and writing

My Project

My project is about helping students build their skills after many students were not in school last year. The more books they get to view and read the more word recognition they will have. This project is to build my classroom library to give my students more books to read. I also would love to give them more opportunity to read books that relate to their lives and interest. Reading helps students with communication and writing skills. The more words they learn they can incorporate those words into their writing.
