My Students

My class has 25 amazing kindergarten students from Washington, DC! Many countries are represented in our classroom. Even though my students may have very different backgrounds, they come together to make an incredible classroom community. They are creative, kind, and a fun bunch to learn and play with every day!

Kindergartners are the future!

The things that they learn in kindergarten will set them up to be successful for the rest of their school careers. We do our best to make our classroom a fun place to be so that our students will become lifelong learners!

My Project

My young students love books. We try to expose them to a wide range of books, but need a meaningful way to organize them so that they are easy to find and easy for our little ones to put away. This bookshelf is perfect for kindergarten because they can match the color sticker on the book to the color section on the shelf.

A love of reading will take my students far in life and we love getting to share our favorite stories with them!

It is exciting to watch our students as they discover new books that they love throughout the year, and having our books organized will help them to easily find old and new favorites.
