My Students

Our library is the center of learning in our school. Our students visit the library often for a variety of reasons, and we want to continue to serve them. Our school is a rural middle school with almost 650 students. Sixty percent of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Our students are AWESOME! They are unique, creative, and talented. They come from all walks of life. Our students have a love for learning and are anxious to read and discover new books!

My Project

A Little Free Library will allow our school to share with the community we live in. The books that are placed in our lending library, will allow our students and neighbors to see themselves in the books that they read.

This lending library will allow our school to support readers from birth and on.

This project will provide motivation to encourage the love of reading in the community. Our main goal as a school will be to make sure that the books placed in this library represent all cultures. This project has the ability to affect every student in our school and community!
