Help me give my students the tools needed to succeed in school. My students require an easel to enhance literacy and a laminating machine to assist in learning environmental print.
I teach students from various cultural backgrounds. With these differences, each student adds something wonderful to create a dynamic learning environment. They enjoy working and learning together and using their imaginations to create new worlds. The students enjoy listening to many different stories and hearing about the adventures of their favorite literary characters. The school is a large urban public school where all of the students receive free or reduced priced lunch. The Head Start program services students from low income families.
My Project
Please help my students achieve maximum success in school. It is imperative that students learn certain literacy skills in preschool and beyond. I want to give my students the foundation skills to be lifelong learners.
With the use of the easel and laminating machine, I will be able to give my students literacy skills that will enhance their knowledge of letters, sounds, and words.
The easel will be used to write morning messages, practice letter writing, and model writing skills. These are important skills which preschool students need. Similarly, the laminator will be used to reinforce papers and posters which represent environmental print, letter/sound connection, and classroom rules and routines. My students would truly love the added benefits that these materials provide.
